I realise it has been a while since my last blog. There has however, been a lot going on behind the scenes in the last few months. styled shoots, wedding fairs and getting to meet some wonderful couples, I am so very excited to be a part of their big day!
I have recently had a lot of Brides asking if I send out bouquets and other bridal party flowers. This is something that in the past I have been a little reluctant to do. Although I send smaller bridal accessories frequently from my Etsy shop. So why you ask have I not offered this service before? Well, for two main reasons really.
1)I worried about the security and transit of such important items.
2)I was concerned over not being able to meet the Bride/couple in person.
However, these worries are easily resolved. So on the first issue of transit, I have become accustomed after a year on Etsy of how best to package the more delicate items and keep them secure in transit. I have couriers that I use who are trusted and reliable.
The second issue was the lack of face-to-face contact with the Bride. Whilst this is probably one of the things I love most about the job, I often have initial consultations (prior to face to face meetings) with my Brides/couples via Whatsapp, Zoom, Facetime or other 'virtual' means! From this I can gather a lot of information on you, your wedding theme, colours, any floral favourites etc. I often ask for pics of the wedding/bridesmaid dresses if that is possible, as again this helps me to interpret the style, suggest colour options if required, and also offer advice on the size and the style of the bouquets. Given that I can gather so much information via these virtual meetings, I feel I can now offer this extra service for those couples who wish to have faux florals for their weddings but live too far from me to meet in person or to have their flowers personally delivered.
So, if you would like to order personal flowers from me, please just fill out the wedding enquiry form on the contact page, and we can take it from there!
