Its been awhile I know, but as usual, lots going on behind the scenes!
I was recently invited to attend a preferred supplier open evening at the lovely award-winning venue, Cantley House Hotel in Wokingham, Berkshire. This venue is a mere 8 minute drive from my front door!
As well as showcasing some of my faux floral designs, including bouquets, rustic table centre-pieces, and a selection of floral bridal accessories, I also had the opportunity to decorate the beautiful bandstand situated in the gardens of the venue.
The Asymmetric ( or broken) floral arch was a perfect choice, not only is at a real showstopper installation, but I was able to follow the curves of the bandstand to give a more natural look.
A similar arch in fresh flowers would be very expensive, but in faux it is not only more affordable, but also stress-free as there will be no wilting in the sun/heat, no worries about allergies, and it can even withstand a little light rain! You can even use this installation indoors if the weather is not favourable. It would look equally beautiful at the back of a ceremony or top table.
My arches are made to be as sustainable as possible. they are built on sturdy steel posts, and are covered in chicken wire, any cable ties used to secure the arch to posts etc, are also reusable. The arches are bespoke to your own colour scheme, and are finished on-site.
Once the arches have been dismantled, all florals and foliage will be inspected for any wear and tear and then carefully packed away ready to be used again in different designs and combinations.
Please note, that arches are generally only greened up at that back, as this allows for them to be placed against posts, or walls neatly. If you require your arch to be double-sided this will be reflected in the pricing, as not only will it need extra florals, but will also require more of my time to create and install.
If you are wishing to decorate a venues existing bandstand/arbor there are so many options available, so if an arch isn't quite what you are after, but you would still like some floral decor, do have a chat with me to discuss the alternatives.
