My Story

Hi, I'm Amanda and a qualified fresh florist.

I have decided to bring my training and experience into the world of faux flowers.

It all started with my sister's wedding. The venue was a beautiful barn conversion situated within the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside. The wedding was a marriage of two cultures with an English ceremony and evening event on the Saturday, followed by a traditional Asian ceremony the next day.

My sister asked me for help with the floral decor. Her goal was to create a design and atmosphere that captured both cultures with minimal adaption and without exceeding their budget. Using only fresh flowers over both days was expensive and would have required maintenance so we looked into faux alternatives.

As a trained fresh florist I was sceptical at first that faux would work. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of faux flowers available and we were therefore confident that we could use both fresh and faux with realistic effect. This was later confirmed by the many positive comments we received from the guests.

I hope you will decide to choose me for your wedding flowers. It will be a privilege to be involved in your special day!

My Commitment & Ethos

I will only source quality faux flowers. My knowledge and experience of fresh flowers gives me the advantage of knowing what the faux alternative should be like in terms of colour, texture and appearance

I provide a cost effective and sustainable alternative to fresh. However, you may also be planning to have both faux and fresh flowers at your wedding event, so I am more than happy to liaise with your fresh florist if required.

I do not pay venues to be on their recommended supplier list. This is because my installations require no power or water and generate no waste for the venue to dispose after the wedding. My prices therefore can be kept reasonable with no hidden venue charges.

My aim is to make my designs unique to you and your personality, so I do not copy images or other people's creations. However, I welcome all your ideas, photos, Pinterest boards etc for inspiration. Designing your flowers is a collaborative process, but don't worry if you are struggling with ideas and colour schemes as I am just as happy starting with a blank canvas.

I believe that your flowers should be designed to complement and enhance their surroundings, so I will be interested in these aspects when designing your flowers to suit your venue, home or location.

I will respect your privacy and will never disclose names or use any photographs without your prior permission.
